Just long enough to wash my clothes
Hi everyone!!
I am home again save and sound. After 23 hours of traveling I arrived at Dusseldorf airport with…snow!! So it took us 1.5 hour to drive home. After a lot of sleep and laundry washing we are now packing our bags again for a nice week with the 3 of us in a bungalow park. But before leaving I owe you report about CHA!!
After arriving on Friday afternoon in a rainy LA I met Julie, Eric and Lindsay at the hotel. It was so much fun meeting Julie and Eric for the first time in real live! After dinner and a good night sleep they took me on a tour on Saturday. Julie and myself sat in the backseat and Lindsay was driving the car with Eric as co-pilot
Now I need to tell you I never heard – recalculate, make a U-turn that much! Even though Julie and I feared for our lives we were laughing so hard it made my eyes wet! If you ever read the Cosmo blog I can tell you, they are even funnier irl
Here are some picture that I took during “the tour” trough Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Balboa Island.
our first stop was…..a gas station. Guess Lindsay though you can not visit the USA without seeing one, lol
see we were close by Hollywood already!
Never knew Lindsay had a star on the walk of fame!!
After our visit to Hollywood we drove to Balboa Island were we had dinner. Love it there, I mean, look at these pictures!!
After dinner we drove back along the shore.
We made a pitstop at the beach…it was cold!
It was such a great day and we had so much fun!! Back at the hotel I met up with Vicki and Greta with whom I shared my room. It was great seeing Vicki again and to meet Greta! Since CHA would start the day after we all went to bed on a decent time
The make and takes I did at the Cosmo booth were so much fun and I actually had a cue at some points!
It was so much fun meeting a lot of people I only knew from the internet irl!! Like here, Emily Pitts (left) and Liz from Tattered Angels.
Most evening I had dinner with Eric, Julie and Lindsay and of course, one night we went to Red Robin. Can’t leave the states without haven eaten an….
and here is Julie showing me how the handle it
Here is a picture of us at the last day of CHA, jep we all were a bit tired but we had soooo much fun!
Thursday morning the Cosmo’s went back home and I spent my day at downtown Disney!
were I bought Noa this cute tiger with cute clothes at Build a Bear, she loves it!!
I was such a shame that this all came to an end so fast. I really had the best time and Julie, Eric and Lindsay really are the sweetest, so funny and nice. Must be the Dutch genes huh Julie
They made me feel like a part of the Cosmo family, gotta love them!
Of course I also made a lot of pictures at other booths at CHA and I owe you a post showing my favorites from CHA. But now it is time to put our bags in the car and head for our little holiday!!
Thanks for stopping by

Hoi mop,
Wij hadden natuurlijk al een heleboel van je gehoord, maar heel leuk om het nu ook nog even te lezen en vooral te zien hoe je het naar je zin hebt gehad. Daar in de States. Geweldig hoor.
